New York Times pick!

Though he was born in the Czech Republic, made his mark in Canada and now lives in New York, the saxophonist, clarinetist and banjoist Petr Cancura has a feeling for the rural American South, particularly as depicted through black-and-white photographs. Down Home is his attempt to evoke that milieu; for this performance it will feature Kirk Knuffke on cornet, Brian Drye on trombone and piano, Garth Stevenson on bass and Kenny Wollesen and Richie Barshay on drums.
